Sheryl is an American actor, comedian, TV host, and most famous for her hosting of The Talk, a popular chat show on daytime. The Talk. Born in Arkansas she was raised at Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is the product of the midst of a difficult background. She spent the majority of her growing up taking care of her sister Frankie who was afflicted by an illness called polio. She faced a lot of problems with her mother as she was growing as a teenager. Sheryl says that her mother was once brutally stabbed by her father for getting too close. Sheryl became a member of the military right after her graduation from college. Sheryl's passion for comedy was evident. In 1989, she became the first woman to reach the finals of the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. In 1992, she began her TV debut with regular appearances on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She was the host of the TV show Oh Drama! in 2000. Presently, she is a guest host on the Talk talk show since 2011. In addition, she has appeared as an unnamed character on shows like Bulworth Nicki as well as Beauty Shop.
