Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian and television host popular as the anchor on The Talk, a popular talk show on daytime television. She was born in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised by the midst of a challenging family. She spent most of her growing up taking care of her younger sister Frankie who was afflicted by an illness called polio. As a child, her relationship with mother was rocky. Sheryl said that in one instance, her mother had attacked the father of her child as she had been a little too closer to the father. Sheryl was a soldier soon after she graduated her college. However, her interests lay in comedy. She became the very first woman to win the Miller Lite Comedy Search in 1989. Her TV career began in 1992 as a actor on the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. The show was in the show Oh Drama! as the host in 2000.
