Cole visited her mom Deborah Quinn and her stepfather Shawn Christian, her parents of half-brother Kameron Christian. Then, she was invited to audition for Summerland on the WB. The role she was offered was Erika Spalding on the show in 2004, after which she moved to Los Angeles to film the series.Cole was featured in Ryan Cabrera's "True" music video, Bullet for My Valentine's music video "Tears Don't Let Go" and Papa Roach's clip for "Scars".She played a cameo in The WB show Supernatural episode titled "Provenance" In the episode, she played Sarah Blake, an art dealer. She then reprised her role in the Season 8's "Clip Show" episode. The episode aired that aired on CBS as NUMB3RS as Bianca. On April Fool's Day, she played the role of Desiree in her horror remake. Cole participated in the film 12 Rounds, produced by WWE Films and starring John Cena.In December 2008, Cole appeared as Private Rachel Mills in the Heroes webisode series, The Recruit, and subsequently became part of the main series in a recurring capacity playing the same character as at the beginning of 2009. The actress also appeared in The Violent Kind alongside Tiffany Shepis. In 2009 she was the lead character "Hot Neighbor" on the brief-lived television series Secret Girlfriend. In April 2010, she appeared as Charlotte Cook's escort in NCIS' "Guilty Pleasure". She played the role of the assassin Vicky Roberts for a covert organisation from September 2010 until May 2011. In October of 2011 she was featured in The Event's music video. She was chosen to play Samantha Owens in CSI: Miami in a regular role as a laboratory technician in November 2011. She was a part of Jennifer Starke on The Glades on A&E in 2012.
